I am a screenwriter, filmmaker and motivational speaker. I have written several screenplays and made a short film. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy soon after birth. I am a former amateur wrestler, wrestling in 2 US Olympic Team Trials and current coach. I have coached both of my young sons. My writing and film is at the very least semi autobiographical and is from the perspective of someone with a disability. I am looking to amplify the voices of a group underrepresented and marginalized. All of my writing has focused on my experiences of being disabled, an athlete, a student, a husband and a parent. I have written published articles for School Bus Fleet, themat.com, Abilities.com, Working Mother Magazine, ADDitude and Disabled Magazine.
My speaking career focuses on two markets 1.) Providing motivational and sales training to Fortune 500 to Fortune 1000 companies and 2.) Working with schools and some non profits about dealing with and being tolerant of young people with disabilities. Prior to starting my speaking career and then branching out into screenwriting and filmmaking. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Business Management. Upon graduation, I began an 18 year career in sales in the private sector. As a Senior National Account Manager at my last employer I had the largest individual sale in terms of dollar amount in the 18 year history of this multi-million dollar publicly traded company.
