NJ-411 Listing

Description

My name is Matthew Sevush, I am an Ithaca College graduate with a B.S. in Cinema and Photography, minoring in Animation. As far back as I can remember my passion has always been towards art and storytelling. My family has a background in theater, so I was continually exposed to the Arts in many forms. Despite this, I have always been better with math than literature. My brain is wired for logic and problem solving, which I used to think was a weakness when I was an aspiring director. Learning how to edit reinvigorated me, allowing me to help in the creative process while using my strengths as a problem solver. That is what separates me from a lot of editors, and ex-film students in general. I approach post-production with an analytical mindset; I am given the pieces and now I have to build the best product possible with them.

Special Skills & Experience

I have edited for many Documentaries, Fiction Short Films, Advertisements, YouTube Videos, Marketing Campaigns. I take pride in my speed and efficiency in which I am able to deliver finished drafts.
