I'm a recent graduate of the University of Miami, where I studied Motion Pictures Production and tried my hand in numerous aspects of the hands-on filmmaking process, including writing and directing my own short films. With a strong work ethic and a passion for creative storytelling across all genres, I seek to create stories that derive inspiration from real-world events and issues. Writing and directing are my primary areas of interest, but I always love helping on sets in any capacity I can. Some of my recent films include a primarily black-and-white silent film, an Edgar Allan Poe adaptation, and a suspenseful crime thriller. My work leans heavily into genre and style as I hope to craft stories that are as culturally, socially, and politically relevant as they are entertaining. I'm hoping to get my foot in the door of the industry by assisting on local productions in any way I can, ideally in a hands-on way. I'm willing and available to help whenever and however possible!
Throughout my time in school, I've gotten a lot of experience working a variety of roles both on my own projects, my fellow students' sets, and both professional and amateur sets outside of school. Outside of extensive production assistant experience, I've helped with camera, lighting, and sound departments, with roles such as Assistant Camera, Grip, Boom Operator, Assistant Gaffer, Script Supervisor, in addition to writing and directing some of my own films. As a production assistant, I've helped transport crew, cast, meals, and equipment, worked crowd control. I've interned with various production companies that have specialized in both narrative Film/TV and documentaries, where I helped with documentary transcriptions, reviews of dailies, historical and location-based research for series such as MGM+'s "Earth Abides," and Paramount's "Dexter: Original Sin." I also helped with screenplay development and script arbitration for these companies and helped with administrative tasks such as finding and compiling the best flight options for crew members. I'm a hard-working team player who heavily values creative collaboration and doing whatever I can to contribute to the larger goal of crafting a great work of art.
