Ford was named a 2023 Success Magazine Women of Influence finalist.

BRND Marketing Group’s founder Kim J. Ford is a 22-year Newark resident and experienced location scout with 30+ years identifying locations for photoshoots, concerts, festivals, and national events. Her background includes The Vibe Awards (2003–2004), VIBE Music Seminars (1996–2000), Tanqueray’s 13-city tour with The Roots hip-hop band, the Lincoln Park Jazzy Soul Series recorded live audience music series, Prince Derek Doll's “MIRROR” music video, and the Rah Digga's “Lyrics Matter” live audience podcast with guests such as rap legend Redman, Grammy nominated Pete Rock and more. She produced the 30-hour virtual Lincoln Park Music Festival 14.2 (2020), created & produced LPCCD’s podcast, worked in art department on indie film Sarbane’s Oxley, was post-production editing assistant MLB Networks’s Pride and Perseverance (2014), and the documentary short for Lincoln Park Music Speaks' A Great Day in New Jersey Hip Hop.
