Katie Kasperson is a freelance writer and photographer from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. She attended the College of William & Mary, where she worked in her school's media center and took courses in film and media studies, studio art, creative writing and marketing. During her spare time, she contributed to student-led magazines as well as the newspaper and radio.At age 13, Katie decided she wanted to be a film director. At age 15, she acted (as an extra) in her first feature. At age 22, she directed her first project (a stage production) and published her first film review; at 23, she attended her first film festival; at 24, she visited her first virtual film set. Now 26, she's ready to commit to filmmaking for good.
Katie's hard skills include: writing, photography and photo editing, social media content creation, Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro. Her soft skills include communication, organization, team leadership and time management (aka working to tight deadlines). She has a valid driver's license and a spotless record.
