Description

Michael Hayes is a New Jersey–based filmmaker and 2024 BFA graduate of the Mason Gross School of the Arts. He has expanded his production skill set through hands-on training with Beyond Film School’s Production Assistant program and pursued further education with extra curricular like the Assistant DGA Training program.
Michael has worked across independent and commercial productions in NJ and NYC, with a focus in set logistics, lock-ups, general electric, and on-set administrative coordination. Outside of filmmaking he has experience in audio visual work from setting up events in Midtown and he's worked in broadcast studios. He is a New Jersey Army National Guard public affairs NCO which has him capturing and publishing the NJ Guard's story. He believes that the standard you bring to one task defines the standard you bring to all.
