Ames Ossi (he/him) is a transgender, queer filmmaker who specializes in the horror genre. Ames has worked with several sound mixers such as the MixPre-3, MixPre-10, and the Zoom Field Recorder. He has worked with Sennheiser Lavalier Microphones and Sennheiser Shotgun Microphones. Ames is familiar with ARRI lighting gear such as the Tungsten Fresnel lights and the Skypanel LED Softlight. He is also familiar with several LED lights, specifically the Aputure Nova Light Panel, the Fiilex light kit, and other Aputure lights. He was trusted with handling and transporting gear of this caliber all four years at SVA.
