Hi, my name is Sean Ennis, I was born and raised in monmouth county and have always had an affiinty towards television. Not only as an escape from reality but as a guide to how people view the world from all different sides and perspectives often causing conflict.Graduated in Spring of 2024 with a Bachelors Degree in Film & Television from Montclair State University.During my time in school I took several classes and extra curriculars focusing on writing and audio. Writing came naturally to me but audio was a field I wanted to pursue and learn more about. Working with highend boards, mixers, and equipment i got to learn a bunch while i was at Monclair's school of commucations and mediaI am a quick learner and a team player which is ideal for any role on a busy setlot. I have done several student films whether they where my own from assignments or passion projects for a friends thesis film
While at Montclair State University I took part in the first cohort of students to work in Hollywood while also attending classes in person and remotely. This inargual class was only 10 students selected by faculty seasoned in the entertainment industry. Lived in Burbank for the semester a few blocks away from the Warner Bros studio lot; often walking past it to class at the new york film academy next door.I had a job as a Television News Writer for an online news organization MXDWN where i would research and write about newsworthy events in the television industry like a season priemiere, new revival/reboot, homage to a recently passed actor, etc. This was during a crucial time in the industry witnessed first hand, SAG-AFTRA signs and shirts were marching all over the place all season for the writers strike in 2023 against AI replacing them in the workforce. After graduating in the spring I started working in florida for a while with the Walt Disney College Program. Moved to florida and started working in the parks as janitorial or service industry which wasnt excatly my end goal butn I was grateful for the plethora of skills I picked up during my classes and employment in Magic Kingdom mostly within the realm of customer service. For the last couple of months I have been working with a company trying out a new kind of customer experience. A few years ago escape rooms started popping up all over the place and it was a relatively new kind of activity not really heard of before 2010. The idea is to have a similar experience but instead of solving puzzles to escape customers would compete with each other in a game show challenge. I host this challenge setting up lights, visuals, sound, and props before hosting the shows asking trivia and explaining to rules to the games.
