I'm Sam Paz, a director and assistant director based in New Jersey.I began my career in fashion design and entertainment marketing, working at places like KidSuper and HBOMax, experiences that shaped my love for storytelling, strong visuals, and culture-driven work.As a director, I'm involved in the entire creative process, from concept development and storyboarding to on-set direction and post-production. My favorite moments come from collaborating with talented people, learning from them, and discovering something unexpected along the way that shifts the story we're building.Growing up between NJ and NYC's fashion, music, film, and arts communities has given me a strong cultural pulse and curiosity about people. I love creating work that feels authentic, visually distinctive, and connected to the stories and communities that inspire it.When I'm not directing, I'm hiking, teaching ballet classes, or designing clothes.
