Michael Oross is a filmmaker, writer, director, and production professional based in New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in English from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Film & Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with an emphasis in Directing. Michael has experience across narrative filmmaking, live event production, development, and post-production. His credits include work as a Production Assistant on major live productions including CBS’s The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden and Disney’s Upfront presentation for FX’s Shōgun. As a writer-director, he is currently completing his thesis short film, Send in the Clowns, a dystopian satire exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on art, work, and human purpose. Born and raised in New Jersey, Michael is passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and bringing ambitious creative projects to life.
